Having a father in the U.S. Air Force, I moved around a lot until I was 10 years old.
That's when we settled down in China Grove, NC. I stayed there until I graduated High School
in 2001.
I then attented North Carolina State University where I studied Textile Engineering with a Concentation
in Information Systems. While at NC State, I was a memberof Delta Kappa Phi Professional Fraternity where I
held multiple offices, Kappa Tau Beta Leadership Fraternity where I served as Treasurer, Computer Science
Instructor, College of Textiles Web Developer, and other activities. I even applied for ENTREPRENEUR$, an
Apprentice like reality show which involved starting a company from the ground up. Finally, I was the student
speaker for the College of Textiles Departmental Graduation Ceremony.
It was in college that I became really interested in database driven web development. That eventually led to me
starting BlogOnCampus.com, a blogging community for college students, during my senior year.
I am currently a Database Administrator for SAS Institute, the largest privately owned software company in the world, in Cary.
I also continue my web development, maintaining BlogOnCampus.com, while developing websites and web applications for various companies.
